Divisions

This is a fun competition! We want you to have fun so please don't be afraid to sign up for the leadline or walk/trot divisions if that is where you need to be.  For many people it takes a long time to create the type of relationship with your horse where you feel comfortable dropping the reins at the canter (even while in the shooting track) and notch, aim and shoot a bow.  This is also a family friendly event so feel free to bring the kids if they know how to shoot.  While most horses are okay with shooting off them so are not, so it is important to try mounted archery at home before coming to the event.

Start time is 10am.  All registered participants will have an opportunity to 'run' the course at least once before we start the classes so I expect the first class to start at 10:30, roughly.

1) Leadline - walk only, up to age 10
2) Leadline - walk only, age 11-18
3) Leadline - walk only, adult

4) Walk - up to age 10
5) Walk - age 11-18
6) Walk - adult

7) Trot - up to age 10
8) Trot - age 11-18
9) Trot - adult

10) Canter - Youth
11) Canter - Adult

Each participant will 'run' the track twice, once as a warm-up and then once where the score counts.

$5 per class

You can enter more than one division but since this is a fun show please use common sense.  AKA - if you're up to the canter division then please don't enter leadline.

All traditional type bows are welcome - with or without an arrow shelf.  No compound or cross bows.

Please note that we are not responsible for any lost arrows.  (We lose enough of our own)

Costumes are welcome as long as they are family friendly.

All participants must wear a helmet.
